The new year brings new challenges to our hop. This month we are creating a project using the Sugar Rush Paper Pack and/or color palette. I created a double z-fold card using Glacier Cardstock as the base and three patterns from the B&T Duos. Glacier is not a listed color for this paper pack, but it was a better fit for my card.
This was my first attempt at a double z-fold card, and I was surprised at how quickly it came together! The donut whipped up in no time using the thin Cuts. I used the masking technique to stamp both sentiments in two colors.
If you look closely, you can see that I layered the heart design washi tape over the pomegranate washi tape from the Sugar Rush Washi Pack to create an extra little "ribbon" banner. The Sugar Rush Dots add a bit of sparkle to the front as well.
I added the layered washi tape to the inside banner too. I thought about adding more bling, but decided to stamp the little heart trio near the bottom instead.
Thank you for stopping by today! Hop on over to Lisa's Blog and Donna's Blog to see what they created this month!
