This month we are sharing projects using the Little Dreamer paper pack (papers or featured colors) from the new Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book. The featured colors are black, blossom, emerald, glacier, lagoon, lemon, tangerine, thistle, and white daisy.
I decided to make a card using a few of the featured colors (black, tangerine, thistle, and white daisy). I made a card base from thistle cardstock and lined the inside with tangerine cardstock. I stamped flowers from the Keep Dreaming Stamp Set with black Momento ink along the bottom of a piece of white daisy cardstock using the masking technique. Then I trimmed the bottom edge, following the lines of the flower petals. I stamped and fussy cut four extra flowers. Using tangerine and thistle inks, and a couple sponge daubers, I added a touch of color to the center of each flower. The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set, which is part of the Flower Market Cricut Bundle.
Three of the extra flowers are popped up using thin 3-D foam tape for a little added dimension. The centers are adorned with clear sparkles.
I added the fourth extra flower to the inside of the card to finish it off.

Beautiful! Love that you didn't use the papers for this but instead the colors! Love the design..so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks you, Lisa! It was fun to let the stamp set and the colors be the design instead of the patterned papers.
DeleteGreat job on picking up on the combination of colors and making something without using the design papers...great masking and love the layering of the other flowers and the addition of color on each flower. Very pretty card.
