Three Amigos February 2017 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Three Amigos Blog Hop. We are three Close To My Heart Independent Consultants with a love for stamping and scrapping, and would like to share our creative ideas with you. On the 3rd of each month, we feature a different CTMH product and create a card, layout, or other project. There are only three stops on this hop, so it will only take a few minutes to hop through.

Our projects this month feature the beautiful Hello Lovely paper pack or featured colors in the pack. I pulled out my Reflections Scrapbook Program book and selected a pattern to showcase one of my favorite family photos. The photograph was taken by my niece, Emilee, owner of Sage Photography in Kansas City.

The pattern I selected is called Bottom Border-Tucked In. I kept my embellishments to a minimum because I wanted the focus to be on the photo. To bring some of the color from the lower patterned paper to the top, I triple matted my photo and created a small cluster of banners.

The title is a PML card included in the paper pack, trimmed down and matted. I inserted the title piece into a flip flap so I could add hidden journaling.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to hop over to Lisa's blog and Donna's blog to see what they created this month!

    1. Thanks, Mary! I usually forget to pull out the flip flaps until it's too late. They are perfect for hidden journaling!
